Content Marketing Manager at Life Storage

As Content Marketing Manager at Life Storage headquarters in Williamsville, NY, I oversaw all content and social media marketing efforts for the company.

In addition to overseeing Life Storage’s social media accounts, which have over 200,000 followers, my team was also responsible for managing our subsidiary brands’ social media accounts: a B2B logistics company, and a Canadian brand of storage facilities. This included social media monitoring and responding to customer inquiries for all 750+ Life Storage locations across the US.

At Thimble.io, a subscription box company that teaches engineering and programming, I had the opportunity to manage all marketing efforts for this startup, including social media.

I developed a marketing strategy that focused heavily on social media efforts, specifically Facebook and Instagram. As a result, the social media communities doubled in just a couple of months, and subscription sales attributed to social media ads also doubled!

Operations Manager at Social Yeah

I officially entered the social media marketing world in 2015 after joining a boutique social media agency in Buffalo. There, I had the chance to demonstrate cutting-edge social media marketing techniques while working directly with 30-40 clients in a variety of industries.

At Social Yeah, I played a key role in growing the company and earning results for our clients. As a result, I was promoted twice in less than three years. I even had the chance to attend a live Facebook Blueprint training course at Facebook’s headquarters in Chicago!

Founder and Content Manager at Pics in the Pit

I started Pics in the Pit as an experiment to see if photos taken on a cell phone could perform just as well as photos taken on a professional camera in the context of social media. Using only my Google Pixel, I built the Pics in the Pit Instagram account to over 6,000 followers.

In 2019, we reached our peak: 10,000 followers on Instagram alone, while still receiving a great engagement rate of 200-300 likes per post. On top of maintaining and growing our social media accounts, I also managed over 15 contributing photographers and writers from across the US.
